Donate Meds
Greetings! I’m Sahaj Patel, a 10th-grade student from Navrachana International School Vadodara. My frequent illnesses revealed a hidden issue: surplus medication going to waste after recovery. This ignited my determination to address this through my IB personal project.
Introducing Donate Meds, a project close to my heart. Our aim is simple: create a platform for individuals to share details of unused medicines. Instead of discarding them, these medicines can find purpose by aiding the less fortunate. Our mission is about compassionately bridging the gap between surplus and scarcity.
We’re starting by collaborating with trusts in Vadodara that are committed to providing healthcare services for the underprivileged, with Yogini Arogya Mandir and Kashiben Govardhandas Patel Children’s Hospital (KGP) as our pioneering partners. These trusts ensure your surplus medicines directly impact the lives of those in need.
But we envision more. The Medicine Share Initiative seeks to identify and unite with additional trusts, magnifying the impact of your goodwill. By growing our network, we aim to reshape healthcare equity.
